Introducing Amber Moon: A Journey into Coloring Books

Hello, friends! I’m Theresa, but you might know me better by my pen name, Amber Moon. Today, I’m thrilled to share my journey as a new author with you.

From South Haven to the World of Words

Growing up in the charming town of South Haven, Michigan, I always dreamed of becoming a published author.  But how could I turn that dream into reality?

Enter AI and the self-publishing revolution. Armed with determination and a love for creativity, I decided to take the plunge. Instead of diving headfirst into novels, I chose coloring books as my canvas. They felt more approachable, like a friendly bridge between imagination and reality. And so, my journey began.

The Birth of Amber Moon Books

In February 2024, I proudly published my first coloring book, Enchanted Landscapes: A Coloring Journey. Its pages were dedicated to my late father, a guiding light who left us just months before. That book was more than ink on paper; it was a tribute, a piece of my heart.

Fast forward to today—August 2024—and I’ve created eight coloring books. Each one reflects my passion, my love for art, and my desire to share joy with others. Surprisingly, the process hasn’t been as daunting as I feared. In fact, it’s been a very enjoyable learning experience!

Quality Meets Marketing

But here’s the thing:  I’ve learned that quality alone isn’t enough. You can craft the most exquisite coloring book, but if you don’t know how to market and sell it, it remains hidden in the shadows. So, I’ve shifted gears. My days are now filled with learning the art of marketing and mastering the dance of salesmanship.
