Big Projects, Big Dreams—What I’m Working On!
Hey, friends!
I wanted to take a moment to update you on everything happening behind the scenes. Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time creating videos for social media, trying to grow my audience and connect with more amazing people who love books and coloring as much as I do. Marketing can be a challenge, but it’s also a fun creative outlet, and I love sharing my work with all of you!
On the coloring book front, I recently published two new books: Colorful Inspirations (in English) and Coloridas Inspiraciones (in Spanish)! Both are filled with positive sayings and beautiful illustrations. I actually chose to create books like this because I wanted positive messages to post around my classroom at school. After COVID, I noticed a lot of students struggling with mental health and depression. I figured having inspirational sayings available for them to color—then either take home or hang up in our room—might help create a more uplifting environment.
Beyond that, I’m still working on my next coloring book. Some of my personal favorites that I’ve created so far are Fairyling Whispers, Tiny Paws & Colorful Claws, and My Monster. The problem? My coloring books are all very different styles—not to mention, I’d really like to create some books similar to the ever-popular Coco Wyo books. So keep an eye out! I’m not exactly sure what will hit publication first, but more coloring books are definitely on the way!
The other big thing that has been stealing my attention? My first novel! I’m diving into writing the first book of what I hope will become a whole series. The story follows a young, slightly disaster-prone woman who returns to her hometown after inheriting her grandmother’s house. She quickly finds herself tangled up in a mystery that uncovers secrets from the town’s past—along with a little danger, comic mishaps, and some intriguing love interests. I’m aiming for a fun, fast-paced writing style similar to what you’d find in a Janet Evanovich novel, blending humor, suspense, and small-town charm. The mix of real-life and fictional elements will (hopefully!) make this book a must-read, especially for those familiar with my real-life hometown.
With so many projects and big ambitions, I’m definitely keeping busy—but I wouldn’t have it any other way! Thank you for coloring, reading, and joining me on this creative journey. Your support means the world!
Stay tuned for more updates, and as always—happy coloring and happy reading!
